Terms of Service

1. What Fuse Is — and Is Not

Fuse is a credit-card rewards optimization tool. We analyze the cards you link and recommend which card is likely to earn the most rewards on a given purchase. Fuse is an informational tool only.

Fuse is not a bank, money transmitter, or financial advisor. We do not hold, move, or have custody of your funds; we do not open accounts or issue cards; and our recommendations are not financial, tax, or legal advice. Reward estimates are projections based on available data and may differ from rewards actually earned. You are solely responsible for your spending and card decisions.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Linked Accounts & Third-Party Services

The Service integrates third-party providers to function, including Plaid (bank and card data connectivity), Stripe (payment processing), Clerk (authentication), and others. When you link a financial account, you authorize us and our providers to access account information on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those providers is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Certain features require a paid subscription (“Fuse Premium”) billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.

You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose;
• access another user’s account or data without authorization;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its security;
• resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Fuse and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that reward recommendations will be accurate, complete, or result in any particular outcome, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUSE AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOST PROFITS OR REWARDS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fuse from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or in-app). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
